2008-09: Redshirted... compiled an 11-9 overall record at 197/285... third-place finish in the “B” bracket of the 197-pound weight class at the NYS Intercollegiate Championships... competed at the UB Open, Ashland Open and Wilkes Open at 197 and at the Jamestown CC Open at 285.

High School: Earned five letters and captained one season at Vestal High School for coach and former UB wrestler Tony Policare... 2008 NYS runner-up, finished with a 38-1 record as a senior... placed fifth at the 2007 NYS Championships.

Personal: Born July 11, 1989... son of Andrew and Lisa Peters... has four sisters, Julie, Jessica, Jamie and Jayne... enjoys rock music and lists Metallica as his favorite band... favorite foods are pizza and chicken... favorite movie is The Departed... admires Cael Sanderson “because he did what everyone thought was impossible”.
