Outlook: Could compete for a spot at either 141 or 149... Had a very good off-season... Can, according to coach Beichner, “win and win big when he is focused and confident.”

Junior (06-07): Finished the season with an even 10-10 record... Won the UB Open at 141 lbs. (11/5) and the Mat Town Invitational at 149 lbs. (11/25)... Earned All-American Honors at the ASICS Men’s FILA Cadet and University National Championships, placing fifth.

Sophomore (05-06): Shoulder injury kept him from competing the entire season.

Previous College: Spent two years at Ohio State... Redshirted during first year... Went 9-7 overall with a 1-4 dual meet mark... Had 33 takedowns in 16 matches and posted three major decisions... Went 4-2 in redshirt season, recording eight takedowns in six matches.

High School: Six-year letterwinner and four-year captain for coach Dick Lang... Three-time state champ who set Section VI record for wins in a career (240)... Went 48-0 as a senior to earn Cadet and Junior National All-America honors.
