High School: Captained four years and earned six letters for coach Bill Kays at Mexico High School... state runner-up in 2007 and finished third in 2006 and fifth in 2008... finished 48-4 as a senior and won three sectional titles... also lettered in football for the Tigers at running back and defensive back earning honorable mention All-State honors.
