High School: Earned five letters and captained one season at G. Ray Bodley High School for coach Mike Conners... as a senior, went 54-1 at 160... Finished second at the 2008 NYS Division I Championship... won two sectional titles... also competed in gymnastics earning third and fourth-place finishes at the state meet.

Personal: Born July 26, 1989... son of Jim and Rita Bogardus... has two brothers, Shayne and Zack and two sisters, Jamie and Laurie... enjoys heavy metal music and lists Metalica as a favorite... favorite movie is Definitely, Maybe... favorite TV show is Nip/Tuck... nicknamed Boggey.
