Benefit for Jeff Parker

Read Jeff's Story

Former UB wrestling captain and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Vice-President Jeff Parker, UB Class of ’08, is in the fight of his life against cancer.

Jeff, who earned the Male “Ideal Bull” Award upon completion of his career, was an outstanding student-athlete who proudly wore the Blue and White. An Academic All-MAC selection and SUNY Chancellor award winner, he won 73 matches for the Bulls while competing from 2005-08. He was originally diagnosed with skin cancer last spring and had successful surgery and radiation treatments. However, this fall, doctors informed Jeff that the cancer has now moved to several of his vital organs. Jeff and his family face an incredible challenge in their efforts to defeat this horrific disease.
