Wrestling - 11/05 Hamel and Green Ranked First in MAC Preseason Individual Rankings The Mid-American Conference wrestling coaches in conjuction with the league offices have announced the 2009 preseason individual rankings. Appearing on the list, 20th nationally-ranked junior Jimmy Hamel at 197 and 16th nationally-ranked sophomore Desi Green at 149, each ranked at the top of their respective weight classes. Wrestling - 11/01 Green Captures Individual Crown at UB Open Wrestling unattached, University at Buffalo sophomore and 16th nationally-ranked wrestler Desi Green captured the individual crown in the 149-pound weight class at the seventh annual UB Open at Alumni Arena on Sunday, November 1. Sophomore Kevin Smith and 20th nationally-ranked junior Jimmy Hamelfinished in second place at 133 and 197, respectively.
