2006: Saw action in 12 games, recording eight kills on the year...had two kills against Akron (9/29), Ball State (9/30) and Bowling Green (10/7)...had 12 block assists, including four in back-to-back matches against the Zips (9/29) and the Cardinals (9/30)...also finished with four digs...UB Scholar Athlete.

2005: Saw her first collegiate action against Maryland-Eastern Shore at the Western New York Invitational and had one block and one attack attempt...had her first career kill and a block versus Colgate at the WNY Invite...had her first career service ace and her first two career digs versus Duquesne at the West Virginia Classic...UB Scholar Athlete.

High School: A four-year letterwinner at Churchville-Chili High School, playing for head coach Dave Cassidy...had 264 kills, 311 digs, 97 blocks and 71 service aces as a senior...had 349 career blocks, shattering the previous school record of 262...also set school records for blocks in a season (106) and aces in a match (13), both during her junior year...was a three-time All-County selection, earning first-team honors as a junior and senior and second-team honors as a sophomore...named to the All-Sectional team as a junior and senior and was a second-team All-State selection as a senior...also played in the Rochester Volleyball Club with VolleyFX Magic, coached by Rob Werkmeister, for four years...team went undefeated in match play the last two years and won regional championship titles in 2003, 2004 and 2005...team also won the Northeast Qualifier Championship in 2004.

Personal: Born November 18, 1986...daughter of Craig and Sally...has one brother (Phillip)...nickname is Smitty...chose UB over Albany, Lehigh and Central Connecticut State because of the "amazing technology department" and the Division I volleyball program...hobbies include computers and scrapbooking...lived in Japan for four years...lists winning the East Coast Championships with her club team in 2004 as her greatest athletic experience...admires her club coaches, Rob and Candi Werkmeister, for their hard work and dedication to volleyball and their players...majoring in media studies.
