Coach Jim Lodes: “Jenna is committed to playing at her highest level. Her enthusiasm and desire to succeed will spark our program.”
High School: Earned two letters and captained two seasons for head coach Linda LiCausi at Cassadaga Valley High School...helped lead her team to an 18-2 record as a senior and league championships as a junior and senior...was named a first-team All-Star as both a junior and senior and the Post Journal Player of the Week during her senior year...was also a stand-out point guard for the Cougers’ basketball team and short stop for the softball team...was a two-time first-team All-Star in basketball and a two-time first-team All-Star in softball.
Personal: Born November 9, 1989...daughter of Thomas and Cheryl...full name is Genevieve Elizabeth Barbara Beichner...has two brothers (Jeremy and Aaron)...is the niece of UB wrestling coach, Jim Beichner...favorite thing about UB is that it is close to the city...greatest athletic experience was making the three-point shot at the buzzer in a playoff game to send the game to overtime...dream as a college athlete is to work hard enough to be a starter at UB...profession she admires most is teaching.
