High School: Was a three-year captain for head coach Janell DeVille at Park Hill High School...set a school record with 656 digs her senior season...was named to the All-Conference First Team in 2007 and 2008 and was named to the All-District First Team in 2008 and Second Team in 2007..named to the All-Region Second Team in 2008 and was a MO-KAN All-Star Game participant in 2008...also played basketball and ran track where she was an All-Conference selection in the 200m, 400m and discus...played club volleyball for KC Extreme.

Personal: Born June 14, 1991...daughter of Jonathan Bechman and Michelle Young...has one brother (JJ) and three sisters (Ashlie, Cally, Katelynn...full name is Victoria Beckman...favorite athlete is Misty May-Treanor...favorite food is pasta and seafood...chose Buffalo because of the coaching staff and the team...three words to describe herself are outgoing, spontaneous and energetic...would like to set the UB school record for digs in a season.
