Lilavois Resigns PositionBUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo head volleyball coach Nadine Lilavois has resigned her position effective immediately, it was announced today by Athletic Director Bob Arkeilpane. "Nadine is an intense competitor who gave her best for our program," said Arkeilpane. "We wish her the best of luck in the future and thank her for her contributions." Lilavois compiled a 20-70 record in three seasons with the Bulls, including a 5-23 mark this
past season. She was named UB's seventh head volleyball coach on March 10, 1999, replacing
long-time head coach Bob Maxwell who retired after 18 seasons with the Bulls. Lilavois came to UB after
spending six seasons as the head coach at Boston College, and she guided the Bulls in their transition into
the Mid-American Conference, picking up four conference wins in her first season in 1999. |
