The Bulls were led by junior Lauren Burd (York, PA/Central York) who had a team-high 12 kills and finished with a .391 hitting percentage. Sophomore Lizaiha Garcia (Dayton, OH/Beavercreek) recorded a team-high 12 digs.

The RedHawks relied on a balanced effort that saw Emily Schroder, Kate Norris and Carli Reihman all record double-digit kills. Schroder led all players with a game-high 16 kills.

UB had an 18-17 advantage in the first game, but Miami went on a 10-1 run to claim a 1-0 lead. In the second game Miami took an early 10-3 edge before the Bulls got as close as 14-10. Buffalo continued to fight in the third game as they built a 19-17 advantage before Miami went on a 13-6 run to close out the match.

Senior Katie Weekley (Dayton, OH/Chaminade-Julienne) finished her UB career just three kills short of 1,000 as she added five on the game. Weekly finished the match with a team-high four blocks, including one solo.
