Bulls Swept By Eastern Michigan
Buffalo freshman Katie Henry (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) served for four straight points, including an ace and two kills by Ashare, to get the Bulls within five points in game one, 18-13. The Eagles, however, regrouped and ended the game on two service aces by setter Camila Olaio and a kill by Katie Wagenmaker. The Eagles went on to dominate games two and three, taking advantage of crucial Buffalo hitting errors and serving 12 of their 16 aces in the match. For the match, EMU hit .340 compared to the Bulls' .041. Sophomore Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) and senior Heather Barfuss (Huntington, NY/John H. Glenn) each had five kills, and Matikosh added team highs of nine digs and three blocks. Sophomore Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) finished with four kills, seven digs and one block, and Henry recorded four kills, seven digs and two service aces. The Bulls will host Marshall in a 7 pm match tomorrow night at Alumni Arena. The
