Senior Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) led the Bulls with 21 kills and 16 digs, and junior Molly Schrantz (Depew, NY/Lancaster) added 18 kills and 14 digs to lead the Buffalo attack. The win improves the Bulls' record to 10-16 overall and 4-8 in the Mid-American Conference. The 10 wins marks the first time since the 1999 season that the Bulls have reached double digits in the win column. In addition, the four MAC wins ties their 1999 mark for the most league wins in a season.

Sophomore Katie Weekley (Dayton, OH/Chaminade-Julienne) also posted double digits in kills for the Bulls with 10 while also recording seven blocks. Senior Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) tied her career high with nine blocks, and freshman Lauren Burd (York, PA/Central York) posted a career-high seven blocks along with five kills. Sophomore setter Amy Brown (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) finished the match with 48 assists and nine digs.

The Huskies (16-9 overall, 5-7 MAC) were led by Megan Markowski with 16 kills and nine blocks, and Kate McCullagh with 12 kills and 12 blocks. Tera Lobdell added 15 kills, 13 digs and six blocks.

The Bulls next host Ohio on Friday, November 7 at 7 pm in their final regular season home game of the 2003 season. The Bobcats currently stand atop the MAC's East Division standings with an undefeated 11-0 league mark and have won 19 straight matches. Buffalo will then hit the road for a 6 pm match at Kent State on Sunday, November 9.
