MOUNT PLEASANT, MI - The host Chippewas of Central Michigan shut out the visiting University at Buffalo volleyball team tonight in Mount Pleasant, MI. Game scores were 30-22, 30-17 and 30-20. The loss drops the Bulls’ record to 9-16 overall and 3-8 in the Mid-American Conference, while CMU improved to 12-12 overall and 6-5 in the MAC.

Sophomore Katie Weekley (Dayton, OH/Chaminade-Julienne) led the Bulls with 11 kills and two blocks, while senior Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) added nine kills and eight digs. Senior Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) added seven kills and two blocks, and sophomore setter Amy Brown (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) finished with 30 assists.

The Chippewas were led by Liz Passen with 15 kills and Emily Lovejoy with 12 kills.

The Bulls are at Northern Illinois tomorrow night for a 7 pm match against the Huskies.
