YPSILANTI, MI - The University at Buffalo volleyball team fell to 9-16 overall and 1-10 in the Mid-American Conference with a 3-0 loss at Eastern Michigan tonight, 30-19, 30-21, 30-28. The Bulls were led by junior Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) who recorded her 18th double-double of the season with team highs of 10 kills and 13 digs. The win was Eastern Michigan's (18-5 overall, 7-4 MAC) 14th straight home victory in the Convocation Center.

Junior Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) finished the night with nine kills and a match-high six blocks for Buffalo, and junior Emily Dills (East Bethany, NY/Pavilion/San Francisco) had seven kills, five digs and four blocks. Senior Becky Ashare (Coram, NY/Longwood) added five kills and five blocks, and sophomore Kathryn Henry (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) recorded 12 digs. The Bulls had 11 blocks in the match compared to EMU's three. The Eagles were led by Bree Hickman and Shayna Munson with 12 kills apiece.

The Bulls return home next weekend for a single match on Friday, November 1 at 7 pm against Kent State in Alumni Arena.
