KALAMAZOO, MI - The University at Buffalo volleyball team fell to 9-15 overall and 1-9 in the Mid-American Conference with a 3-0 loss at Western Michigan tonight, 30-18, 30-18, 30-18.

Alexis Bouie

The Bulls were led by junior Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) with eight kills and four blocks. Sophomore Molly Schrantz (Depew, NY/Lancaster) added five kills, 15 assists and two blocks, and juniors Emily Dills (East Bethany, NY/Pavilion/San Francisco) and Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) and freshman Katie Weekley (Dayton, OH/Chaminade-Julienne) each finished with four kills apiece. Matikosh also posted a match-high 12 digs, and Weekley recorded three blocks. The Broncos (10-12 overall, 4-5 MAC) were led by Carman Malone and Angie Sillmon with 13 and 10 kills, respectively.

The Bulls are at Eastern Michigan for a 7 pm match tomorrow night.
