The Bulls failed to capture their first Mid-American Conference victory last week, losing to Kent State, Ohio and Marshall. Two days later, junior Jessica Redding (Andover, MA/Eastern Connecticut State) posted a career-high 15 digs, and junior Larissa LaCour (West Islip, NY/West Islip) added 13 digs and 45 assists, but it was not enough to push the Bulls to a win at Marshall. Shiels had a productive afternoon with a team-high 16 kills and 11 digs, and Matikosh and junior Amelia Liddle (Toronto, Ontario/Leaside) added 10 kills apiece.
