BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo volleyball team dropped three games to the Ohio University Bobcats, 15-10, 15-2, 15-4, in Athens, OH. The Bobcats (15-7 overall, 8-3 MAC) snapped a three-match losing streak while serving 12 aces. The Bulls (4-17 overall, 0-10 MAC) committed as many errors as they had kills, and they remain winless in the Mid-American Conference.

Junior Keri Shiels (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) led the Bulls with 10 kills while freshman Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) recorded a team-high six digs. The Bulls battled back from an 11-4 deficit in game one to cut Ohio's lead to 13-10 before the Bobcats ended the game with two points. Ohio used a 13-0 run in game two and a 15-2 run in game three to finish the match.

Buffalo travels to Marshall on Sunday, October 22 for a Noon match. The Thundering Herd is 2-20 overall and 0-9 in the conference.
