Bulls Fall to Broncos in MAC ActionMeade records 12 kills and nine digs as Buffalo drops to 7-8, 1-3BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team returned to action today after picking up its first Mid-American Conference win against Northern Illinois in five games last night. In today's action, the Bulls fought hard but fell to Western Michigan in three games, with scores of 15-11, 15-11, 15-7. The Bulls were lead by senior outside hitter Rebecca Meade (Selden, NY/Selden) who recorded 12 kills and nine digs in the three games. Senior setter Somer Deschambault (Midland, Ontario/St. Theresa's) was also active for the Bulls with 35 assists and 16 digs. With today's loss the Bulls fall to 7-8 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Following today's game, the Bulls will be on the road for three straight weeks. Upcoming
action for Buffalo includes matches at Akron (10/8), 7:30 pm and at Kent (10/9), 7:00 pm.
