Volleyball Falls to Toledo in Four GamesBUFFALO, NY - Junior Amelia Liddle (Toronto, ONT/Leaside) posted a career-high 13 kills and added four blocks, but it was not enough as the University at Buffalo women's volleyball team lost a four-game match to visiting Toledo. Buffalo rallied to earn a 15-11 win in game one before dropping three straight games, 12-15, 7-15, 11-15. With the loss, Buffalo's record falls to 4-15 overall and 0-8 in the MAC. Junior Keri Shiels (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) posted 10 kills and 10 digs, and freshman Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) added 11 kills and six digs. Junior Larissa LaCour (West Islip, NY/West Islip) finished the night with 50 assists and a match-high 13 digs. The Bulls are still looking for their first conference win of the season. They host Kent State on Wednesday, October 18 at 7 pm at Alumni Arena. The Golden Flashes have a 5-12 overall record and a 2-5 conference mark.
