MUNCIE, IN - The University at Buffalo volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Ball State Cardinals in Muncie, IN this evening, 30-17, 30-20, 30-16. The loss drops Buffalo's record to 8-13 overall and 0-7 in the Mid-American Conference, while Ball State improves to 10-6 overall and 5-0 in the MAC.

The Bulls were led by sophomore Kathryn Henry (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) who recorded a team-high 11 kills and eight digs. Junior Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) added nine kills, and junior Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) finished with six kills and a team-high nine digs. Sophomore Molly Schrantz (Depew, NY/Lancaster) recorded 25 assists and six digs. The Cardinals were led by Katie Butts with 13 kills and nine digs.

The Bulls return home to host Toledo on Friday, October 18 at 7 pm and Central Michigan on Sunday, October 20 at 3 pm in Alumni Arena.
