Bulls Shut Out By RedHawks, 3-0

Buffalo plays at Ball State tomorrow night

OXFORD, OH - The University at Buffalo volleyball team saw its losing streak extended to six matches with a 3-0 loss at Miami (OH) tonight in Mid-American Conference action.

The Bulls (8-12, 0-6 MAC) lost game one by a 30-24 margin before dropping games two and three by identical 30-18 scores. The win for the RedHawks (6-11, 1-4 MAC) is their first conference victory of the season.

Buffalo was led by junior Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda), who saw her streak of double-doubles in kills and digs end at nine matches. She finished with team highs of nine kills and nine digs. Juniors Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) and Emily Dills (East Bethany, NY/Pavilion/San Francisco) added six and five kills, respectively, and sophomore Kathryn Henry (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) finished with seven digs. Freshman Amy Brown (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) and sophomore Molly Schrantz (Depew, NY/Lancaster) shared the setting duties and recorded 14 and 11 assists, respectively.

The Bulls play at Ball State tomorrow night at 8 pm.
