BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team lost a three-game Mid-American Conference match at Ball State, 15-1, 15-4, 15-9. With the win, the Cardinals remain undefeated in the conference with a 6-0 record while Buffalo falls to 0-6 in the conference and 4-13 overall.

Freshman Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) and junior Keri Shiels (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) led the Bulls with eight and seven kills, respectively, and a team-high four digs apiece. Junior Larissa LaCour (West Islip, NY/West Islip) also recorded four digs, and she finished the night with 24 assists.

Buffalo plays its sixth straight road game on Friday, October 13 at Bowling Green before returning home to Alumni Arena for a 3 p.m. matchup with Toledo on Sunday, October 15.
