BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo volleyball team is 10-5 on the season and 1-1 in conference play, and will play host to MAC rivals Kent State Friday and come back to play Ohio on Saturday at Alumni Arena. Both matches are set to start at 7:00 pm.

The Bulls are coming off a stunning 3-1 win over Bowling Green. The win was UB’s first victory against Bowling Green since 2003 and their first ever victory while visiting. The victory marks the first conference win for the Bulls this season.

The Bulls look to improve their MAC record against Kent State on Friday and Ohio on Saturday.

Buffalo will look to junior setter Lindsey Schlegel to help lead the way. Schlegel is coming off an impressive match against Bowling Green where she had a season-high 48 assists, nine digs, and seven kills. She is currently leading the MAC with 26 service aces.

The Bulls have a plethora of playmakers that match up well against upcoming opponents, including junior Kristin Bignell who is currently second in the conference for blocks.

The Bulls defeated Kent State last season on Senior Day. A win Friday will double last year’s conference record.
