Volleyball Loses at Eastern MichiganBUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team lost a three-game match at Eastern Michigan to fall to 4-10 overall and 0-3 in the Mid-American Conference. The Eagles pulled out a 15-10 win in the opening game of the match before dominating the Bulls in games two and three, winning by 15-3 and 15-2 scores. Freshman Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) led the Bulls with six kills and six digs, and junior Heather Barfuss (Huntington, NY/John H. Glenn) posted a match-high 10 digs to go along with three kills. Junior Wendy Ryder (Bernhards Bay, NY/Genesee Community College) finished with four kills and junior Larissa LaCour (West Islip, NY/West Islip) contributed 15 assists from her setter position. Buffalo is still looking for its first conference win of the season. The Bulls' next match is on Tuesday, October 3 at Akron at 7:30 pm.
