TOLEDO, OH - The University at Buffalo volleyball team lost three quick games to the Toledo Rockets tonight, 30-23, 30-17, 30-23, to fall to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the Mid-American Conference. The Rockets (6-3, 2-2 MAC), who outhit the Bulls by a .235 to .054 margin in the match, remained undefeated at Savage Hall with their fifth home win of the season.

Keri Shiels

Senior Keri Shiels (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) led the Bulls with seven kills and a match-high 10 digs. Sophomores Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) and Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) also had seven kills apiece, and Matikosh added nine digs and two service aces. Senior Larissa LaCour (West Islip, NY/West Islip) finished the night with 24 assists and six digs, and freshman Molly Schrantz (Depew, NY/Lancaster) had four kills and six digs off the bench for the Bulls.

Buffalo will look to rebound from the loss and earn its first conference win of the year at Northern Illinois tomorrow night at 7 pm.
