Alexis Bouie

ATHENS, OH - The University at Buffalo volleyball team lost its second Mid-American Conference match of the season tonight, falling to the Ohio Bobcats in four games by scores of 30-24, 28-30, 30-13 and 30-25. Sophomore Alexis Bouie (Albion, NY/Albion) continued her strong play with a team and career-high 15 kills to lead the Bulls. Bouie has now posted double figures in kills in three straight matches. Her previous career high of 13 kills was set at Syracuse in Buffalo's four-game loss on Wednesday night.

Sophomore Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) was the only other Bull to reach double figures in kills, recording 13 on the night to go along with 14 digs. Senior Larissa LaCour (West Islip, NY/West Islip) recorded 35 assists from her setter position and also led the Bulls with 16 digs.

Buffalo (2-7 overall, 0-2 MAC) has the week to prepare for its next conference match at Toledo on Friday, September 28 at 7 pm.
