BUFFALO, NY - Four University at Buffalo volleyball matches during the 2005 season will be broadcast live on WLVL-1340 AM, beginning with a 7 pm matchup with cross-town rival Niagara on Tuesday, September 13. Three Mid-American Conference matches round out the Bulls' radio schedule. Buffalo's matches against Miami (OH) at 6 pm on Friday, October 7, against Kent State at 6 pm on Saturday, October 15 and against Toledo at 7 pm on Thursday, November 3 will also be broadcast live on WLVL. Brendan McDaniels, sideline reporter and host of the pregame and halftime shows for all UB football broadcasts, will call the Bulls' volleyball action live from Alumni Arena.

The four volleyball matches are part of an expanded radio broadcast schedule the Bulls have announced for the 2005-06 season, which includes live broadcasts of all women's basketball games on WLVL - both home and away. In addition to the women's basketball games and the four volleyball matches, WLVL will also be the home for up to eight broadcasts of other UB athletic events throughout the year. Those events will be announced at a later date.
