Volleyball To Be Broadcasted on WLVL

The Bulls will have four matches on WLVL 1340-AM including the Syracuse match and the match against cross-town rival, Canisius, on Sept. 12. Brendan McDaniels, who does pre- and post-game for the UB football team, will do all the play-by-play and Paul Vecchio will provide color commentary.

Two more matches will be broadcasted later in the season with dates still to be determined. The four volleyball matches are part of an expanded radio broadcast schedule the Bulls have announced for the 2006-07 season, which includes live broadcasts of all women's basketball games on WLVL - both home and away. In addition to the women's basketball games and the four volleyball matches, WLVL will also be the home for up to eight broadcasts of other UB athletic events throughout the year. Those events will be announced at a later date.

For fans not in the Buffalo area, all matches will also be streamed on Teamline, which can be accessed from the UB volleyball main page.
