Women's Volleyball vs. St. Bonaventure (9/9)

The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team knocked off Western New York rival St. Bonaventure Wednesday night (9/9) in a three-game sweep, 15-6, 15-8, 15-10. Senior captain Aprille Sweeting (Hilton, NY/Hilton) and freshman standout Heather Barfuss (Huntington, NY/John H. Glenn) led UB with seven kills each in the Bulls home opener. UB moves to 3-2 and travels to the Cornell Tournament this weekend (9/11-12) in Ithaca, NY.

A ceremony was held prior to the match to honor head coach Bob Maxwell who earned his 400th career victory this past weekend (9/4-9/5) at the Navy Trident Classic.
