Bulls Hammer Niagara

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team defeated Niagara University in three games Wednesday night (10/1) 15-1, 15-9 and 15-9 to raise their record on the season to 8-11.

Senior middle hitter Kathy Brinkworth (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) led the Bulls with eight kills, while sophomore setter Somer Deschambault (Medland, ONT/St. Theresa's) passed out 18 assists and made six digs.

The Bulls will return to action on Friday (10/10) when they open Mid-Continent Conference play by hosting a cluster with Valparaiso on Friday night, Central Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon (10/11) and Youngstown State on Sunday afternoon (10/12).
