Bulls Win Mid-Con Cluster

The Bulls went 3-0 this weekend (10/10-12) in the Mid-Continent Cluster at Alumni Arena on UB's Amherst Campus. On Friday (10/10) Buffalo knocked off Valparaiso in four games, 15-6, 14-16, 15-9, 15-10. On Saturday (10/11) the Bulls faced Central Connecticut and defeated the Lady Blue Devils in three games, 15-13, 15-2, 16-14. The Bulls closed out the Cluster by defeating Youngstown State in four games, 15-12, 15-3, 9-15, 15-10.

Senior middle hitter Kathy Brinkworth (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) had an impressive weekend as she totaled 37 kills and 35 digs for the weekend. Brinkworth was also named the Mid-Con player of the week for her accomplishments in the Cluster.

Buffalo is currently on an eight game winning streak and has moved to 11-11 for the season. The Bulls are also undefeated in the Mid-Con at 3-0.

The Bulls next matches take them on the road to West Virginia (10/18) at 1:00pm and St. Bonaventure (10/22) at 6:00pm.
