Double Duals Kick Off Women's Tennis Season

Back-To-Back Dual Matches Start Fall Season

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis program begins competition in its 2000-01 season this Saturday with a home match against Marist College and then on Sunday with a home match against Canisius College. The Bulls will have three more competitions this fall, with only one other being held at home.

UB concluded the 1999-00 regular season 5-16 overall and 0-9 in Mid-American Conference competition. The Bulls fell in the first round of the MAC Tournament to seventh-seeded Northern Illinois, 4-0.

The Bulls' other home match this fall will be a dual match with Youngstown State.

Competition with the Red Foxes begins at 3:00 p.m. this Saturday and then again at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday with the Golden Griffs. Both matches will take place at the UB Tennis Center, Ellicott Complex.
