Head coach Kathy Twist made the following presentations: Michaela Kollarova (Slovak Republic/Bratislava) was selected as the Top Newcomer; Jennifer Wong (Penfield, NY/Penfield) earned the Most Improved Player Award; Shani Amarasinghe (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) received the Coach's Award; and Karen Maynard (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill) was named the team's Most Valuable Player.

The Top Newcomer Award is presented to the individual student-athlete who distinguishes herself as the most talented new player on the team or the individual who accomplishes the greatest achievements as a first-year player. Kollarova finished the year with a 5-17 overall record, playing mostly second singles. Kollarova won the New York State Championship at second singles at the competition in Binghamton.
