Bulls Fall to FalconsBUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team lost a Mid-American Conference match with a 7-0 loss to Bowling Green State University on Friday. At first singles, junior Karen Maynard (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill) fell to Devon Bissinger, 6-2, 6-0. Freshman Michaela Kollarova (Slovak Republic/Bratislava) fell at second singles to Lisa Maloney, 6-2, 6-0. At third singles, senior Shani Amarasinghe (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) fell to Susie Schoenberger, 6-1, 6-0. Senior Jennifer Wong (Penfield, NY/Penfield) fell to Gaby Coello at fourth singles, 6-1, 6-3. Erica Zielinski (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) fell at fifth singles to Laura Kokinda, 6-3, 6-0. At sixth singles, senior Meaghan Partelow (Lyons, NY/Lyons) was defeated by Cameron Benjamin, 6-1, 6-1. In doubles competition, Maynard and Kollarova fell to Bissinger and Schoenberger at number one, 8-0. At second doubles, Amarasinghe and Wong fell to Coello and Alyson Gabel, 8-2. At third doubles, Partelow and Zielinski were defeated by Maloney and Jessica Johnson, 8-1. The Bulls are next in action against Ball State University on Saturday, April 20 at 1 pm at the
