Bulls Bounced by BroncosWILLIAMSVILLE, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team continued competition in its 2002 spring season on Friday with a 7-0 loss to Western Michigan University. At first singles, junior Karen Maynard (Poughkeepsie, NY/Spackenkill) fell to Larissa Chinwah, 6-3, 6-1. Freshman Michaela Kollarova (Slovak Republic/Bratislava) fell at second singles to Melanie Remynse, 6-0, 6-0. At third singles, senior Shani Amarasinghe (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) fell to Nikki Douglass, 6-0, 6-1. Senior Jennifer Wong (Penfield, NY/Penfield) fell to Valeria Stoilova at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-0. Erica Zielinski (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) was defeated by Stephanie Mueller, 6-0, 6-1, at fifth singles. At sixth singles, senior Meaghan Partelow (Lyons, NY/Lyons) was defeated by Brookley Crews, 6-0, 6-0. In doubles competition, Maynard and Amarasinghe fell to Chinwah and Douglass at number one, 8-1. At second doubles, Kollarova and Wong fell to Crews and Stoilova, 8-0. Partelow and Zielinski were defeated by Remynse and Mueller, 8-1. The Bulls are next in action against Northern Illinois University on Saturday at 1 pm at the
