Women's Tennis Weekly Release - March 27Bulls Suffer Pair of MAC Losses The Bulls women's tennis team dropped a pair of Mid-American Conference matches on the road over the weekend. UB fell by identical 7-0 scores to Eastern Michigan and Toledo to put their record at 5-8 overall and 0-2 in MAC play. The Bulls were forced to play shorthanded as number five singles player Jen Wong (Penfield, NY/Penfield) was injured at Eastern Michigan forcing UB to default her matches against Eastern Michigan and Toledo and number three doubles at Toledo. Kris Van Schoonhoven (Lockport, NY/Lockport) was a bright spot for the Bulls. Although dropping both matches over the weekend, Van Schoonhoven played well falling 6-2, 6-2 at Eastern Michigan and 6-3, 6-3 at Toledo. Coach Kathy Twist's squad looks to rebound from the down week as they host MAC rivals Ball State on Friday March 31, and Bowling Green, Saturday April 1. Both matches are 1:00 p.m. starts.
