Throwing Blanks in the Second Set The Bulls achieved a rare feat on Sunday in singles play as all six players scored 6-0 wins in the second set of their matches. In fact, UB only allowed six games won by Cleveland State in the first sets and no more than two in any one match. Andreea Novaceanu (Bucharest, Romania/Emil Racovita) and Katrin Fischer (Ternitz, Austria/Borg) both posted 6-1, 6-0 wins in their matches while Miglena Nenova (Rousse, Bulgaria/Eurointellect) and Tina Jacob (Singapore/Raffles JC) picked up 6-2, 6-0 victories.

Hitting the Road For In-State Action The Bulls travel to Central New York this weekend for matches against Syracuse on Friday, February 10 and Colgate on
Saturday, February 11. Both matches will be played in Syracuse. The Orange fell to Dartmouth and Brown over the weekend while the
Raiders swept weekend matches over Siena, Manhattan and Marist. |
