Bulls Stand Undefeated After First Week

The women's tennis team stands undefeated after their first week of fall play at 2-0. On Saturday (9/5) the Bulls defeated St. Francis (PA), 5-4. Seniors Annulett Dillon (Buffalo, NY/Bennett) (No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles) and Danielle Rakowsky (Las Vegas, NV/Clark) (No. 3 singles) turned in decisive victories in their single matches, 6-0, 6-1, and 6-0,6-0, respectively. Jen Wong played a smart steady game winning 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 5 singles slot.

On Sunday (9/6, the Bulls defeated Marist College (NY), 6-3. Freshman Nicole Sargent (Hamburg, NY) had a tough match but managed to play some outstanding points for the victory, 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 at the No. 3 singles slot.

The Bulls next match is set for Wednesday against Canisius at 4:00pm.
