Miglena Nenova is in her first season as assistant coach of the UB tennis program, but she is no stranger to the Blue and White. Nenova was a four-year letterwinner for the Bulls and she is currently second in school history in singles victories and is first in school history in doubles victories. Nenova wrapped up her brilliant four-year career in 2007.

Nenova was honored by the MAC in all four of her seasons at Buffalo, being named first-team All-MAC three times. Nenova was also named the MAC’s Freshman of the Year following the 2004 season. Nenova finished her career with a 67-32 mark in singles play and a 78-35 mark in doubles action. She is the only player in Buffalo history on both the men’s and women’s side to have over 70 doubles victories in a career.

Nenova is a native of Rousse, Bulgaria and graduated in 2007 with a degree in International Business. She was awarded the 2005 SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete award for women’s tennis.
