High School: Earned four letters and captained two seasons at Granite Hills High School for coach Cathy Elgas. The CIF (San Diego Section) Division I champion in the 100 breaststroke. A four-time all-league selection and the Grossmont South Swimmer of the Year in 2007. Also part of the water polo team for the Eagles.

Personal: Born December 11, 1988. Daughter of Guy and Nancy Johnson. Has one sister (Sarah). Favorite athlete is Philip Rivers. Favorite book is Les Miserables. Admires U.S. servicemen and women for “their selfless deed for our country.” Worked with the El Cajon police department as a teen decoy. Majoring in political science and plans on becoming an FBI special agent.
