Bulls Sweep Past Duquesne in Dual Opener

The UB men’s and women's swimming and diving teams scored dual-meet victories over visiting Duquesne at Alumni Arena Natatorium. The UB men downed the Dukes, 129-107 while the women defeated Duquesne 128.5-84.5.

Lehner, Ballard, Vander Zalm Score Big For Bulls

The UB women won eight of the first 10 events before exhibitioning the remaining three events. Sophomores Andrea Lehner (Lockport, NY/Orchard Park) and Jessica Ballard (Montreal, Quebec/Academic Magnet) each won two individual events with Ballard adding a relay victory onto her total. In the men’s meet, UB won seven of the 13 events with sophomore Connor Vander Zalm (Kelowna, British Columbia/Kelowna) taking both distance freestyle races for the second consecutive week to lead the team to victory.
