Bulls Use Ovetime Goal To Win

Listrani Scores OT Goal To Help UB Stay Undefeated

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's soccer team remained undefeated on the season with an overtime win at Toledo. The Bulls improved their record to 7-0-1 on the year, the best start without a loss in school history.

Paula Listrani (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) scored off a Tara Donahue (Port Crane, NY/Chenango Valley) pass at the 93:37 mark for the overtime win. It was the second goal of the game for Listrani and gave the Bulls their first MAC win of the season. UB is now 1-0-0 in the conference.

Toledo got on the board in the 25th minute, but Listrani responded with her first goal of the game at the 33:33 mark to tie the score at 1-1. Listrani then fed the ball to Linnaea DiNallo (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) to give UB a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Toledo tied the game in the 62nd minute on a goal by Corrie Hasenjager to force overtime where Listrani provided the game winning goal.

Goalkeeper Jaime Adams (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) recorded 12 saves in the game and gave up both goals. The two goals by Toledo were the most scored against UB this season.
