The Bulls scored two goals late in the first half as Natalia Crofut (East Aurora, NY/Iroquois) connected at the 44:21 mark. The goal, her third of the season, moved her into a tie for the team-lead. With a mere one second remaining on the first half clock, Lauren West (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) snuck one past Golden Flashes' goalkeeper Lindsey Mitchell for her first career goal. The Bulls' final goal was scored by Pamela Schneck (Dix Hills, NY/Half Hollow Hills East) at the 59:17 mark. It was also the first goal of Schneck's career.

The Bulls, who were outshot 19-9 on the afternoon, got a tremendous effort from goalkeeper Anna-Lesa Calvert (Dallas, TX/Bryan Adams). The redshirt freshman made a career-high eight saves to earn her third shutout of the season.

With the win, the Bulls improve to 5-7-5 overall and 4-5-2 in the MAC. Kent State falls to 6-9-2 overall and 3-6-2 in the conference. Buffalo will return home to face Ohio on Sunday at 1:00 pm at RAC Field.
