Bulls Fall on the RoadUB Drops Second Game This YearYpsilanti, MI - The University at Buffalo women's soccer team lost for just the second time this season, falling 2-0 at Eastern Michigan in an important MAC contest. It was a battle of UB's MAC leading offense and EMU's MAC leading defense, but the Eagles defense prevailed and took the victory. Eastern Michigan scored with 10 minutes left in the first half for the lead at halftime. Amanda Kulikowski scored past UB goalie Jaime Adams (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) for the 1-0 lead. In the second half, with the Bulls attacking to try and tie the game, EMU responded with an insurance goal by Courtney Sindelar in the 82nd minute to secure the 2-0 win. Eastern Michigan goalkeeper Sarah Willis won the goalie battle with Adams. The two keepers have been going back and forth for the MAC lead in goals against average and shutouts. Willis records her ninth shutout of the season, one ahead of Adams with eight. UB falls to 13-2-1 on the season and 7-2 in the conference. The Bulls next play at Central Michigan who is also 7-2 in the conference following a 2-1 upset loss to Kent on Friday.
