BUFFALO, NY - The UB women's soccer team completed a two game road swing this weekend with a 2-1 victory at Ohio, the defending regular season MAC champions.

The Bobcats got on the board first, scoring in the ninth minute on a goal from Racheal Najjar for an early Ohio lead. The Bulls responded with a goal just before halftime. Elizabeth Pfeffer (Liverpool, NY/Cicero North Syracuse) scored off a pass from Paula Listrani (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) with under three minutes left in the first half, sending the teams into halftime tied at 1-1.

Pfeffer would then give the Bulls the game winner in the 56th minute, scoring her second goal of the game and giving UB its 13th win this season. The two goals today give Pfeffer four goals in the last two games.

Jaime Adams (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) recorded five saves on the day for UB as the Bulls defense shut the Bobcats down after the initial goal.

UB improves to 13-1-1 on the season and are now one win away from the school record of 14 wins in a season set back in 1986. The Bulls are also 7-1 in the Mid-American Conference.
