Sullivan connected on her third goal of the season off a header into the lower right hand side of the net from a cross by freshman Erin Tambs (Farnham, NY/Lake Shore). The assist was Tambs first point of her career.

Buffalo goalkeeper Emily Cox (Fairport, NY/Fairport) also earned her first shutout of the season. The junior stopped 11 shots en route to her seventh victory.

The Bulls, who are currently on top of the MAC standings with 21 points, will close out its conference schedule at Central Michigan on Friday, October 19 (3 p.m.), and at Eastern Michigan on Sunday, October 21 (12 noon). Both Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan are tied for second place with 15 points.
