UB Remains UndefeatedListrani Scores Twice; Adams Records ShutoutBUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's soccer team improved on their season of perfection thus far, winning 2-0 over Western Michigan. The Bulls increased their school-record unbeaten streak to 10 games, improving to 9-0-1 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in MAC play. The Bulls were once again led by the tandem of Paula Listrani (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) and Jaime Adams (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia). Adams recorded six saves on goal, and recorded her seventh shutout of the season. The team record for shutouts in a season is ten back in 1988. Her first goal came at the 22:02 mark with a left-footed hook from 15-yards out. Listrani's second goal came late in the second half, scoring in the 74th minute. Jennifer Keefe (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) took the ball down the right side and played a pass to the middle of the box for a wide open Listrani who recorded her sixth goal in the last three games. UB will go for their 10th straight game without a loss when the Bulls host Northern Illinois
in another MAC contest on Sunday, October 3, at 1 p.m.
