Women's Soccer Wins In OTBUFFALO, NY - Sophomore Robin Aparo (Victor, NY/Victor Central) scored with 3:13 left in overtime to give the University at Buffalo women's soccer team a 3-2 victory over Ball State in Mid-American Conference action on Sunday afternoon. The Bulls improved to 5-5 overall and 4-2 in the MAC while Ball State dropped to 7-2 overall and 2-2 in the MAC. Junior Emily Cox (Fairport, NY/Fairport) had a strong game in goal for the Bulls, stopping eight Ball State shots. Buffalo held a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks with both teams recording 13 shots. The Bulls will close out their MAC home schedule next weekend when they host Northern Illinois (Friday, October 5, at 4 p.m.) and Western Michigan (Sunday, October 7, at 1 p.m.). |
