The Bulls opened conference play over the weekend, dropping both games of the two-game road trip. Buffalo was tripped up 3-1 by Miami (OH) on Friday and fell to Ball State on Sunday, 3-2. Despite the setbacks, UB enjoyed a handful of success over the weekend. Freshman Caitlin Higgins (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) scored her third goal in two games and sophomore Jenessa Banwell (Toronto, Ontario/Birchmount Park) inked her first assist of the season. Meanwhile, on Sunday, freshman Julie Dale (Cary, NC/Raleigh Charter) and sophomore Ashley Turner (Olean, NY/Olean) picked up one goal each while Higgins and senior Jessica Roesch (Centennial, CO/Grandview) were each credited with an assist in the contest.
